Screen Machine returns to the Western Isles with Harry Potter in tow

Audiences in Barra, South Uist, North Uist, Benbecula and Harris will be able to experience the final Harry Potter film in 3D when Screen Machine returns to the Western Isles from Monday 15 August.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part Two has been breaking box office records around the world as audiences find out how JK Rowling’s saga ends, with 3D helping to bring them even closer to the action. The 80-seat digital cinema will also be screening popular US comedy, Bridesmaids and animated comedy sequel, Cars 2.

Ron Inglis, Director of Regional Screen Scotland, the organisation behind Screen Machine, said of the visit: “We always receive a warm welcome from Western Isles audiences when Screen Machine arrives. Harry Potter has been selling out across Scotland and we’d recommend buying online early to guarantee a seat.”
