FOR the second year running Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival (August 6 and 7) tickets have sold out – and in record time organisers have announced.
This means that no advance tickets are now available via agents and none will be available on the gate.
"We are absolutely delighted to have sold out two weeks before the event. Please, if you don't have tickets, don't come to the event hoping to buy on the gate because they won't be on sale there," says festival promoter Joe Gibbs.
And as the last tickets have been sold, the final batch of acts for the 2010 event have been confirmed, including ex-Razorlight drummer Andy Burrows new band 'I Am Arrows', whose debut single Green Grass is the perfect sound to any summer festival.
Also topping the bill will be Fence Collective main man 'King Creosote', Indie-electonica act and Rough Trade signings 'Wilder', Mull's 'Sorren Maclean', and local act 'Abagail Grey', wit rising star rock chick Tiffany Page completing the 2010 line-up.
Other acts to perform over the weekend include: Eliza Doolittle, Badly Drawn Boy, The Divine Comedy, Bob Marley's legendary Wailers, the Levellers, local heroes Wolfstone, Barra's The Vatersay Boys and band of the moment Stornoway amongst many others.
Feeder, the Brit-Award nominated alternative rock band from Wales will be headlining the Friday of the festival, with Glasgow's Amy MacDonald, who has sol over three million albums since her 2007 Bella gig, taking the Saturday headline slot.
And among the new non-music features at this year's event are an aerobatics display by the Chang Gang, some vintage fairground rides and Finding The Will theatre company who will perform Shakespeare-related drama in Belladrum Temple.
