STORNOWAY'S DOTJR and two acts from the Isle of Skye have been tipped for stardom in a 'Scottish Ones to Watch' list, produced by PRS for Music, the organisation that collects royalties for songwriters and composers.
The list, chosen by the crème de la crème of Scottish musical talent including the Proclaimers, Barry Fratelli and Justin Currie, was released to mark Burns Night and acknowledge the influence the National Bard has had on the Scottish music scene.

Helen Chalmers, Co-ordinator of the Wickerman, pinpointed Stornoway's DOTJR music as one to watch in 2010, while former Pop Idol winner, Michelle McManus has selected the Isle of Skye's Michael Brady as her hot tip for the top. She said of the unsigned musician, "Michael is a fabulous singer/songwriter, whose music is a mix of folk/indie. His lyrics are breathtaking."
