Barra’s eco warriors battle waste

Eoligarry Primary School, Isle of Barra recently hosted a ‘Eco-week’, which saw 22 pupils taking part in an action packed schedule involving visits from several other organisations and members of the community.

Amongst the activities guests Al Friend and Ronnie MacNeil from Scottish Water explained to the pupils how the local water supply is purified and made safe.
