Crafts, performances and ceilidh fun in final week of Harris Arts Festival

The Harris Arts Festival is presenting ‘Pop up Baroque’ With Peter McCarthy Viola da Gamba today (Monday) with performances taking place at The Mission House, Finsbay at 11am; St Clements Church Rodel at 1pm and the Temple Café, Northton at 3.30pm.

The Harris Arts Festival continues tomorrow (Tuesday) with a one day workshop featuring ‘Hand-sewn Harris Tweed Crafts’.

The workshop will be taken by Karen Allen and Pippa Stevens and will be held from 10.30am to 1.30pm at Tarbert Community Centre priced £20/£15.

On Friday, August 16th the award winning duo of Rona Wilkie and Marit Fält with perform at the Harris Hotel Tarbert from 7.30pm.

Tickets can be bought at the door with Adult £10, Concession £7, and Family £25. For advance tickets (24hr or more) Adult £8 Concession £5 Family £20.

The final day of the festival will see a Family Concert and Ceilidh With Harris Highland Dancers, Harris Choir and Young Instrumentalists and Singers at Tarbert Community Centre on Saturday, August 17th at 7.30pm.
