SHE’S escaped from the studio and she’s hitting the road as award-winning Shetland fiddler Jenna Reid heads on tour for the release of her third solo album ‘Morning Moon’.
And Jenna will be stopping off at An Lanntair on Thursday, April 5th, to entertain island audiences with her new music.
Having performed on the arts centre stage before, both with popular group Blazin’ Fiddles and as a soloist, Jenna is keen to return to the island venue.
She said: “The arts centre, and any venue that is generally a success, is due to the team working behind the scene to make everything happen.
“Alex MacDonald at An Lanntair is brilliant to work with, and she is a great supporter of traditional music and Scottish musicians. It’s a very well designed venue and the sound engineer is excellent too. That always makes an evening more relaxing for the performers – if you trust the engineer you can just get on and play!”
