STORNOWAY is beginning to feel the buzz of what promises to be the busiest week in the calendar this year.

The Big Issue, the well-respected publication sold throughout Scotland, lists the Hebridean Celtic Festival as the Number One place to be this summer – they must be right with over 40 journalists and broadcasters covering the event this year.

Festival Saturday will be a double achievement for Pipes and Strings, who comprise Pipe Majors Roddy Macleod, Iain and Allan Macdonald.

The evening concert in An Lanntair will be preceded by the release of their first CD as Pipes and Strings. The Main Box Office in Bayhead is the venue for the release, a chance to meet the PMs between 3:30pm and 4:40pm

Starting on Wednesday then you will be able to hear sneak previews, interviews and snippets from festival artists.

HebCeltFest have teamed up with social media site AudioBoo to give everyone behind-the-scenes audio interview access to performers.
