Following on from the Living it Up Pop Up Shop’s introduction to iPads, we are hosting a Tablet and iPad taster drop in session where the folks from Tech-Mobile in Stornoway are providing a selection of Tablets to try out.
The session is open to everyone and will be useful to people who are considering a Tablet purchase or wanting to know what a Tablet can do for them.
The Pop Up Shop team will be available too to help with queries about how technology might help you.
The tablets will be available to trial from 4pm on Wednesday 24th July at the Living it Up Pop Up Shop, 36 Point Street, Stornoway.
The project is initially aimed at people over the age of 50 – and will be of particular interest to carers, people living with long term health and care conditions or those that just want to ensure they keep happy, healthy and safe.
It will deliver new health, care and wellness services, information and products via familiar technology, enabling people to better care for themselves and others.
If you would like to attend please drop in or let us know in advance by contacting Mary Sinclair or Lynne Maciver on 01851 706104 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
