THE Lochies made a very welcome return to Stornoway on Friday night (April 26th) for a sell-out concert organised by Calum Macmillan in support of Fèis an Rubha and Còisir òg an Rubha.

The trio were supported by a hugely talented and entertaining range of local acts including school choirs, solo singers, a folk group and the amazing duo of Iain MacInnes and Calum Ailig Macmillan, sons of Donnie Gazette and Seonaidh Beag.

The concert included a wonderful performance from Seonaidh Beag, his son Calum Ailig Macmillan and two of Seonaidh’s grandchildren.

The whole evening was an amazing success and followed on from a return to the stage for the Lochies in Glasgow in November last year as reported in the Gazette.

The MC for the evening was their long-time friend and some say ‘Fourth Lochie’, the highly entertaining, Tom.

And just in case you weren’t able to get tickets, The Lochies and supporting acts are to appear again this Friday night (May 3rd) at the hall in Balallan in support of the Ravenspoint Centre in Kershader.

Seats can by booked by phoning Ravenspoint on 01851 880236 - it’s sure to be another incredible evening so don’t miss it!
