Look out for winter visitors

With the cold weather drawing in now is the best time to look out for winter visitors such as Waxwings, which travel from Russia and Northern Scandinavia, arriving in large numbers to look for food.

A plum bird, slightly smaller than a starling and with a distinctive a yellow tipped tail and a feather mohican, they can be spotted in gardens thought out the north west of Scotland on the look out for berries.
