Understanding the history of Rona while looking towards the future of this remote island has been the focus of one island architecture student.

And now Ruairidh Campbell Moir, who is from Tolsta and is studying at the Strathclyde School of Architecture, is preparing to discuss his final year thesis with a presentation on Thursday August 1st and the opening of his exhibition.

Hosted by Comunn Eachdraidh Nis the exhibition will run for several weeks at Sgoil Chrois, and include drawings, films and architectural models.

For more information about the project see this week’s Stornoway Gazette, out Thursday 1st August.
