Spinning up funds for Breast Cancer charity

Pictured are Shirley Macleod, Ceitlin Smith and Judi Maclennan who joined 73 other students in London on 29th June to cycle over 200 miles to raise money for Breast Cancer Campaign.

They said: “We all enjoyed it immensely and felt a great sense of achievement once we reached the finish line at the iconic Eiffel Tower. It was a fantastic experience and would definitely encourage people to take on an adventure like this.”

“We would like to thank Boots Chemist, The Cabarfeidh, Bardon Hebrides, Delights, Sports World, Calmac, Spors Nis, Cross Stores, The Park Bar (Glasgow), The Rangers Club, The Co-Operative, MacNeils Bar, The Stuart Taylor Ceilidh Band and all the artists who performed at our ceilidh, Galson Motors, Harris Tweed, Autparts, The Crofters.

“We would also like to thank Donnie ‘Maroot’ Macleod for his immense support all those who kindly helped us organise events and donated so generously, we were overwhelmed by the fantastic support from the island.”
