STEVE Cousins, The 'Britain's Got Talent' Star, wowed national audiences in this year's competition and has now exploded on to the streets of Stornoway today with his troupe to teach circus skills to young and old alike.
Steve has been a favourite at the festival for the last few years but he wasn't always as popular as the mass of people gathered outside An Lanntair in Stornoway this lunchtime testify.

He chuckles that when they first came to the festival: "People would hide from us!"

"We were young and enthusiastic and in your face. But if you compare that with having something like 400 people at our last show, it came together."

Steve's circus show has certainly gone from strength to strength, last year stunning the crowd with street acrobatics, fire eating, and juggling that bordered on magic, and this year being the forerunner in establishing a solid Fringe festival for the Heb Celt.

"What we're doing this year, is we're doing the formation year for the Hebridean Fringe Festival," explains Steve.

And there is more to come on Friday and Saturday with a spectacular trapeze demonstration promised, so keep your eyes peeled for Steve, his team and their box of thrills and tricks.
