THE ground work got underway in earnest today for the opening of this year's Hebridean Celtic Festival in Stornoway.
With the weather holding good on Tuesday the teams starting putting up the 'Big Blue' marquee at the foot of Lews Castle.

Pictured are the Managing Director of UBC Hebrides, Iain Peteranna, and the director of the Hebridean Celtic Festival, Caroline MacLennan, in the Castle Grounds as the festival infra-structure is put in place by UBC staff.
