Ten Isles' Post offices for the chop

POST Office Ltd has today (May 9) announced its decision on the future of branches across the Western Isles.
Thirteen Post Offices in the region were on the hitlist and starting from July branches at Gress, Grimshader, Knock, Leurbost, Borve, Breasclete, Shader, Sidinish, South Dell and Tigharry will close.

The proposal to close three other branches in the region at Bragar, Skigersta and Northton is under further review. The final decisions about the fate of these branches will be announced in the near future.
