DONALD Trump's right hand man will arrive back on Lewis this weekend and will be taking a tour of Lews Castle.
George Sorial, who also has family on the island, will visit for a holiday but will also take time to meet with Comhairle officials and have a look around the Castle.
Mr Sorial is leading the Trump Organisation's development of a golf resort and r
esidential community in Aberdeenshire which is currently the subject of a Public Local Inquiry (PLI). He is also the President of the Board of Managers at Trump World Tower in New York.
Pending his visit, Comhairle nan Eilean Siar are currently making plans to brief him on the Castle project and to make arrangements for him to be given a tour of the historic building.
For their £10m proposal to convert Lews Castle into a hotel, museum and conference centre, the Comhairle are looking for a private investor, however they do stress that this will be only a small part of the overall funding package.
During his flying visit to Stornoway earlier this month, Mr Trump, who was accompanied by Mr Sorial and his sister Judge Maryanne Trump Barry, said he would be interested in hearing more about the Castle project and remarked that it was 'beautiful building'.
He also spoke about his island roots and how he had visited only once before as a very small child but had plans to return within the year.
Although Trump himself only spent a matter of hours in Stornoway, his sister Judge Barry returned to Lewis following a day at the Aberdeen PLI to spent some more time with her island family.
