Highland based theatre company Dogstar Theatre this month present new play ‘Factor 9’ throughout the Highlands and Islands.
And later on this year the company hope to take the dramatic performance to the Edinburgh International Festival Fringe – but need help to raise the required funds.
‘Factor 9’ tells a true story told through the eyes of those affected by the biggest healthcare disaster in the history of the NHS and reflects the experience of thousands of individuals and their families worldwide as they were treated with infected blood products.
With cover-ups for corporations, governments and health authorities, for thirty year victims and their families have been screaming in the dark – now Dogstar Theatre has given them a voice.
And you can help too – by kickstarting the company’s desire to deliver this production and its story to more media exposure and to a national and international audience and promoters at the Edinburgh International Festival Fringe, and hopefully beyond.

‘Factor 9’ will visit An Lanntair, Stornoway, on Friday April 11th and the Macphail Theatre, Ullapool, on Saturday April 12th; as well as taking in venues in Strathpeffer. Aberdeen, Inverness and Paisley amongst others.
