With two touring theatre shows being presented during the first week of April, the Westside is the place to be.
First up, Ionad na Seann Sgoil in Shawbost is hosting Unicorn Theatre in the UK’s leading theatre for young audiences with The Secret Life of Suitcases.
Larry works at the Suitcase Station, every day he inspects funnels and fixes pipes. He collects and sorts out everyone’s secrets as they arrive from all over the world.
Larry is very goof at his job, until one day a secret escapes – and Larry goes on a mission to get it back.
This show is suitable for ages 5+ and The Secret Life of Suitcases will be an afternoon performance during the school holiday on Thursday April 3rd at 2pm.
Unicorn Theatre will travel to Tarbert Community Centre on Friday for two day time performances. Tickets are available at the door or from www.wegottickets.com
And there’s more as Farnham Maltings perform In Praise of Elephants, a celebration of the greatest animal on the planet and a touching story of a quiet man turning 60 trying to make sense of the world.
The show is suitable for ages 8+ and takes place on Thursday April 3rd at 7.30pm at the Clan MacQuarrie Centre; and at Breasclete Community Hall on Friday April 4th at 7.30pm.
Tickets will be available at the door or online at www.wegottickets.com
