Attempted robbery in Stornoway

POLICE are appealing for information in relation to an attempted robbery in Stornoway.

A 12 year-old boy was walking down James Street, towards the bus station in Stornoway, about 19:10hrs on Thursday 1 March, when a young male, walking up James Street, attempted to snatch the boy’s wallet. The male is described as young, of medium build and about 5” 7’ in height, wearing a dark grey or black hooded top.
