Drivers are being asked to ‘get a grip’ when it comes to parking after the number of complaints accelerated recently.

The Community Safety Partnership, along with the Gazette, are put the foot down on bad parking and asking readers to get involved.

Not only inconsiderate parking put pedestrians at risk when they have to step onto the road but it can cause obstruction to other vehicles including the emergency services.

Over the coming weeks we are asking for your examples of poor parking and we will use them in the Gazette and online. Send your poor parking pics to news@stornowaygazette.co.uk

We will ensure the number plate is obscured prior to publication.
