The Lewis Baha’i group are hosting a presentation on Tuesday 13th October, at the An Lanntair arts centre, Stornoway.

The presentation will be given by Odie Odudu Assum, talking about the event he said:“My name is Odie (which stands for Odudu - Power of God).

“I am a 31 year old man from the Akwa-Ibom, South-east of Nigeria. I have lived in UK for eight years, studying and working in IT.

“In October 2014, I fulfilled one of my major goals in life; I went on a pilgrimage to the Baha’i Holy places in Haifa and Akka, Israel.

“The Baha’i pilgrimage is a nine day visit to places which are of historic significance to the Baha’is such as the Shrine of Baha’u’llah (the founder of the Baha’i Faith), the Shrine of The Bab (Baha’u’llah’s forerunner) and many more important sights.

“The presentation I will be giving is a presentation about the activities that were covered over the nine days. And I will also share my personal experience of the pilgrimage.
