Bord na Gaidhlig CEO steps down

Bòrd na Gàidhlig Ceannard (CEO), Iain Campbell has stepped down from his post due to personal reasons.

Bòrd na Gàidhlig Cathraiche (Chair), Allan MacDonald said: “The Bòrd is extremely grateful to Iain for the work he has done and we accept his resignation with regret. However, we respect his decision and wish him all the best for the future.

Working closely with the Bòrd’s Senior Management Team, we have put in place arrangements to ensure the continued stability of the organisation until a new Ceannard can be appointed.  I can affirm however that this news does not alter the aims and objectives of the Bòrd and we will continue to work towards achieving the key strategic aims of the National Gaelic Language Plan.”
