Pupils from Sir E Scott School took part in an international youth event in Brussels recently.
Funded by the the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), three pupil representatives and a teacher from each of the twenty-seven European Union member states were extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to attend this event in Brussels, the capital of Belgium. The three pupils chosen to represent Sir E Scott School were Jayne Morrison(S5), Alasdair Summers (S5) and Stephen Mackinnon (S6). Jayne and Alasdair were delighted at the prospect of being able to practice their French in a French-speaking environment just before their Higher French exam. Mrs Barbara Mackay, French teacher, who had entered the school for the event, accompanied the group along with Mr. Malcolm Macdonald.
