Over 100 Point residents gathered together on Christmas Eve for the annual carol evening in the Aird Community Centre.

The event was organised by the leaders, children and teenagers from Point ABC Club, Sgoil an Rubha Scripture Union and Point2Life.

The ABC club caters for those in P1-P4 and meets from 6-7:15 pm every Tuesday in Sgoil an Rubha, while the SU club meets in the school each Tuesday lunchtime. Point2Life is run for teenagers and young adults from across Point and meets fortnightly at 8:30 pm on Sundays in Aird Community Centre.

This year the very tuneful gathering of ‘Rudhachs’ raised the magnificent sum of £300 which was donated to locally based charity Steadfast Global for their work with the Suffering Church.

Pictured receiving the cheque from some of the very happy carolers is Rev. Malcolm MacLeod of Steadfast.
