AS the Christmas party season approaches, The Co-operative Food is getting into the festive spirit with a £10,000 party fund to give community groups and neighbourhoods across Scotland the chance to win one of 100 Christmas parties UK wide.
Local groups looking to organise festive fun in their village hall, community centre or nursing home can win a party pack full of party essentials for up to 50 people, containing crackers, paper plates, paper cups, balloons, napkins and tablecloths, along with £100 worth of Co-operative vouchers to spend on food for the party.
Helen Nunn, Head of Marketing at The Co-operative Food, said: “Christmas is a time when people come together to celebrate and, with a store in every UK postal area, we’re here for families and communities at this special time of year, and want to lend a helping hand to those looking to keep community spirit alive over the festival period by organising a party for their local community group or neighbourhood.”
With 100 Christmas party packs up for grabs, the UK’s favourite community retailer is looking to find the UK’s most community-spirited parties.
The competition launches on Wednesday (November 7th) and runs until Tuesday, November 20th , inclusive. People can enter by visiting www.co-operativefood.co.uk/party and saying why their neighbourhood or community deserves a Christmas party.
And The Co-operative is gearing up for the festive period with a wide range of great-value party food, perfect for celebrating with family and friends.
As well as offering a fabulous range of frozen party food products from just £1 each, shoppers can take advantage of a money-saving ‘3 for 2’ offer across a broad range of chilled party food lines, including many of The Co-operative’s permium own-brand premium party food products.
