The 1st South Lochs Cubs and Scouts would like to say a very big thank you to all those generous people who assisted with their fundraising efforts last year which culminated in their five day trip to The Lochgoilhead Activity Centre in October.
Special thanks goes to the following local businesses and supporters whose generosity was overwhelming and without their assistance it would not have been possible :- MacMillan Engineering, J.A.MacKenzie, Marine Harvest, Black House Creative, Cllr Philip MacLean, Finlay MacDonald, Ravenspoint, The Loch Erisort Inn, Mr Ian Scarr-Hall and the Trustees of the Scarr-Hall Memorial Trust.
The Cubs and Scouts had a fantastic time enjoying Abseiling, Kayaking, Jacobs Ladder and much more. Everyone found the whole experience very rewarding in so many ways, so much so that they are planning to do it all again this year.
And to get the party started for the fundraising, they are holding an ‘80s Night Disco’ at The Royal British Legion on Saturday, April 9th.
Tickets are available from various outlets. Fancy dress is encouraged and there will be a prize for the best 80s outfit.
