Double Gold success for Western Isles team

The Western Isles team at the Natwest Island Games in Bermuda were celebrating two more Gold medals last night.

Eilidh Mackenzie won Gold in the 1500m for the fourth games in a row and Donnie Macleod took Gold in the 800m.

This means the Western Isles team now have four Gold medals after Christina Mackenzie and Kerry MacPhee won the Women’s Triathlon at the weekend.

Today (Wednesday) will see the Western Isles’ Cameron Ross compete in the hurdles, Kara Hanlon in the pool and Kerry MacPhee in the 5000m final.
