We’re used to heavy rain, torrential rain and even horizontal rain but this week the Isles could see ‘blood rain’ falling just in time for Halloween.
Forecasters say there is a possibility of rainfall carrying red dust from storms in the Sahara desert which could fall across the UK. The phenomenon can leave behind a rain dusting on cars and windows etc.
The temperatures are also set to drop at the end of the week.
See this week’s Stornoway Gazette, out on Thursday (25th), for more on what to expect weather wise this week.
