LEWIS Blythswood Moldova Project are raffling two stunning Olympic coins to help raise funds for their annual appeal – and entrants have a one in 150 chance of success as tickets have been limited to just 300.
First prize in the draw is the Official London 2012 five ounce gold coin which is worth a whopping £11,500 – one of a limited mintage of just 500 coins.
Second prize is the Official London 2012 five ounce silver coin which is worth £525 and comes from a limited mintage of 7,500 coins.
The Lewis Blythswood Moldova Project helps provide clothing, bedding, medical equipment, educational toys and books for the pople of Moldova and the draw will help cover the cost of sending the lorry to Moldova in 2013.
A limited number of 300 tickets will be sold for the draw priced at £50 each and will be on sale from now until the end of August with the draw taking place on August 31.
The prizes have been purchased from Francis Street Post Office and tickets are available to buy for the draw from Sportsworld in Stornoway.
