SGOILTEAN Ùra are delighted to announce that FES FM, having successfully been awarded contracts for both the Western Isles Schools Project and the Hebridean Housing Partnership (HHP), will be undertaking two public events to discuss the employment opportunities which exist for both individuals and companies in the local community.
Starting at 5pm on Wednesday, February 16, FES FM will have a ‘recruitment’ open night, at which there will be various opportunities for staff including electricians, plumbers, joiners, admin staff and quantity surveyors amongst others.
And from 9am on Thursday, February 17, the company have arranged a ‘supply chain’ day to allow all interested companies to better understand their requirements and how they may be able to assist.
Both events will take place in the Garry Room of the Caladh Hotel, Stornoway.

Works are well underway at the schools which constitute the Western Isles Schools Project, all of which remain on budget and on programme.
Point and Balivanich will complete in the summer this year, Sir E Scott in December 2011, West Side in spring 2012 and the Nicolson Institute in summer 2012.
Works on the HHP contract will commence April 1, 2011.
