THE T-Shirts have arrived! Made of a fabulous ‘breathable’ fabric and brilliantly pink, the t-shirts for the 2012 Womens Cancer Challenge 5k have arrived and are now on sale at Lewis Sports Centre at the price of £12 – the proceeds from which will be donated to the Lewis branch of Cancer Research UK.

So, what better way to entice a friend to join you in this year’s event – which is urging participants to ‘Bring a Friend’ to make the 5k bigger and better than ever before – than by getting shirty?

Modelling the new t-shirt, designed especially for the Challenge by Lewis resident Morag MacDonald, is 5k organiser Kirsty Wade (pictured).

She said: “The t-shirts are fab, really eye-catching and really comfy to wear. We’re hoping that people will come in and buy them early for training in as this will help raise awareness of the event and hopefully raise more funds for Cancer Research UK.”
