HebCelt gets crafty

A FANTASTIC opportunity for the islands’ arts and craft artisans is presented by this year’s Hebridean Celtic Festival through the HebCelt Crafts Market.

The Market will operate during the Festival on the Castle Green in the HebCelt’s newly created craft area, situated to the right of the green adjacent to the mainstage and beside the family area.

Individual units are available within the craft tent and traders are permitted to bring two chairs. Traders can apply for more than one unit, or may collaborate with other producers if they wish, providing this detail is outlined in the application form.

There will be a fee of £120 per unit and each unit will be allocated two vendor bands permitting access to the main site. Additional individuals required would need to purchase a ticket for the event and children Under-14 have free entry although tickets must be secured in advance as they do sell out.

All traders would require public liability insurance and provide evidence of that together with a risk assessment for their stall on application. And all items must be hand crafted by the artist and no imported items (or imported items with finishing details added) or kit crafts will be accepted.
