Benbecula Police Station could be closed to the public under new proposals by Police Scotland.
The force is proposing changes to public counter opening hours which could see access to Stornoway Police Station extended from 8am to 8pm to 7am to midnight.
There are also plans to remove traffic warden services from police operations but it is unclear how this will affect the Stornoway service.
Both proposals to change public counter provision and remove the traffic warden service are currently the subject of staff consultation.
Following the staff consultation, the final changes will be confirmed.
