A Ladies Pamper Evening was held at Breasclete Hall recently to raise funds for and awareness of two charities – the British Heart Foundation and Crossroads (Lewis).

Held on March 28th, those at the evening event enjoyed warm bamboo massages, hot stone massages, reflexology, foot whispering, eye brow threading, bra sizing, nails, make-up, hair dressing, detox foot spas and a swishing rail.

A grand total was reach with each charity receiving a donation of £540 from the proceeds of the therapies and raffles.

Pictured are Angela Andrews (Island Foot Whisperer); Janet Morrison (Head to Toe Therapies); Mairi Helen MacLeod and Donna MacLeod from Underworld alongside Crossroads Fundraising Manager Donna MacLeod and Crossroads Assistant Manager Karin Slater

Those unable to make the photo, but who kindly donated their time, products and professionalism were Robyn MacAskill; Suzanne Steward; Seona Scott; Aggie Macdonald; Bell Cameron; Rhonda MacInnes and Maggie Smith.

A huge thank you also to all the businesses in Stornoway and surrounding areas who kindly donated raffle prizes, which helped contribute to raising the £1,080 total on the night; and the ladies of Breasclete Community Centre.

Pamper Nights are a great way of trying out a therapy that has perhaps never been tried before, as well as having fun with friends and raising awareness and funds to charities that need support.

And more Pamper Night are planned soon.
