TWO of Scotland’s leading youth charities are to combine forces to offer more support for young people.
The Prince’s Scottish Youth Business Trust (PSYBT) and The Prince’s Trust Scotland will merge on April 1st in a move to deliver a joined-up, comprehensive range of youth services with a view to reaching an increased number of young people.
The Prince’s Trust Scotland supports disadvantaged young people into work, education and training, while PSYBT helps young people to start up and continue in business.
After the integration, the work of PSYBT will continue under the name The Prince’s Trust Youth Business Scotland, a core part of The Prince’s Trust Scotland, and will maintain its support for young people who wish to start and grow a business.
The combined organisation aims to help in excess of 6,000 young people in Scotland in the year ahead, offering cost-effective, timely and tailored support for young people.
