The islands party continued throughout Friday as the Hebridean Celtic Festival 2014 came alive in glorious sunshine.
The empty festival arena was visited in the morning by members of the Rotary Club of Stornoway, but with local band Black Cub kicking off the mainstage at 2.30pm, the site was soon filling up.
In town visitors and residents alike were treated to numerous musical and dancing performance, as young festival-goers enjoyed learning circus skills in Perceval Square.
And at the tents it was an afternoon spent in the sunshine with music galore, before the night ended in big style with Big Country.
