The Harris and Ness ticket allocation for the Stornoway Gazette’s Big Referendum Debate is now confirmed for Thursday, August 28th from 10am to 12pm at Spornis, Lionel, Ness and at the North Harris Trust office in Tarbert from 3 to 5pm.
Tickets can be picked up from each venue only during these two hour slots. Only two tickets per person may be requested and tickets will be distributed on a first come first served basis.
Four panellists for the event have already been announced for the debate which takes place at Stornoway Town Hall on Monday, September 1st from 7.30pm.
Putting the case for Yes Scotland are: local businessman Gordon ‘Diesel’ Maclennan and Western Isles MSP Dr Alasdair Allan.
Making the case for Better Together are: local accountant Roddy Cunningham and former MSP for the Western Isles and chairman of the local Better Together group Alasdair Morrison.
This Thursday the paper will announce the final panellists for both sides - two big political names have been confirmed - so catch this week’s issue if you want to find out who will complete our panel.
The Gazette is also asking for your input in regards to the questions put to the panellists.
