Death in Stornoway

Police have confirm that the body of a 37 year old man recovered from a field near to Parkend on the Isle of Lewis has been positively identified as that of missing man Neil Maclean.

Mr Maclean, aka Peels was reported missing from his home address in Parkend Stornoway Isle of Lewis. He was last seen around 1.30am on Friday 22nd February.

Police say there are no suspicious circumstances and thank all involved for there assistance in the search.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
