HHP buy part of Goathill Farm

The Hebridean Housing Partnership (HHP) have bought part of the land at Goathill Farm in Stornoway.

The area from Sand Street to the farm buildings will now form part of the Housing Partnership’s ‘land bank’. There are no specific plans yet for development on the site, but is expected to be large enough to hold in excess of 50 homes.

HHP has also bought more land at Melbost next to their existing housing development site, Mackenzie Park.

Both plots of land were bought with financial help from the Scottish Government.
