Hopes for over 20 new Stornoway homes

UBC Developments Ltd aim to build 22 new houses at Tolmie Terrace in Stornoway.

An application for planning permission has been submitted to Comhairle nan Eilean Siar for the development, situated just off Anderson Road.

UBC Developments Ltd was established by Seumas Pederana, a former director of UBC Group which collapsed last year with debts of £11.5million and the loss of 250 jobs.

The UBC Group had hoped to take forward the development at Tolmiw Terrace, and Mr Pederana now hopes to resurrect the plans under the auspices of UBC Developments.
