House fire in Benbecula

POLICE in Benbecula are appealing for witnesses to a fireraising at a house in the Meall Ard area of Balivanich, Benbecula, between the hours of 5.15pm and 6pm on Friday, February 22nd.

The inside of the house door was set alight and was extensively damaged. The porch area was also damaged and there was smoke damage within the house.

No one was injured as a result of the fire.

Anyone who has any information relating to this incident is urged to contact Police on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
