MV Isle of Lewis out of action

Just weeks after a £700,000 refit, MV Isle of Lewis has broken down and remains out of service this morning (Monday).

The vessel has been replaced by MV Clansman causing a complex shuffle of vessels for Calmac.

A CalMac spokesman said: “We are doing everything we can to bring the MV Isle of Lewis back into service as quickly as possible and apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
