Presenting a taste of the Guga
Angus MacNeil presents the Guga to B�r�ur Nielsen.
A group of representatives from the Finance Committee in the Faroese Parliament recently visited The Houses of Commons in London.
During the visit Western Isles MP Angus MacNeil presented the Guga to Bárður Nielsen from Westmanna in the Faroe Islands.
Mr Neilsen is a former Finance Minister and is now the Chairman of the Finance Committee in the Faroese Parliament.
The group were delighted to receive the Ness delicacy and they were extremely interested in hearing all about the annual Guga Hunt to Sulasgeir.
Thanks to John Murdo “Dodds” MacFarlane from Ness who vacuum packed the Guga to ensure its safe arrival in London and onward to the Faroe Islands.
