Road Closures in Western Isles

DUE to high winds this evening (Tuesday, January 29th) a number of roads in the Western Isles have now been closed.

Police inform that the following roads are closed: Baleshare Causeway; Eriskay Causeway; B892 Stinkybay, Nunton/Griminish, Benbecula; and the Briagh Causeway.

All other roads are severely affected by heavy spray and debris and travel is not recommended.
