UPDATE: Ferries cancelled

M V Hebrides. SGD. 22227

Technical problems have delayed sailings on the Stornoway to Ullapool route this morning (Wednesday) while other ferries across the island network are cancelled due to adverse weather.

MV Hebrides which is currently covering for MV Isle of Lewis is still in Stornoway due to repairs taking longer than anticipated. The 7am sailing was cancelled as is the 10.25am from Ullapool. Weather permitting the usual timetable is due to resume at 13.50pm from Stornoway.

The 7.25am sailing from Berneray and the 8.35am sailing from Leverburgh have been delayed. There will be a review at 9am.

With no improvement in weather conditions the 9.25am and 11.10am sailings from Barra and the 10:15am and 1pm sailings from Eriskay are now cancelled.

The Oban/Lochboisdale/Castlebay service is also suspended with a review due at 1pm.

All sailings between Berneray-Leverburgh today are cancelled. The 2pm sailing from Uig and 4pm from Tarbert are also now cancelled.
