VIDEO - Lifeboat aids vessel taking on water near St Kilda

At 1822 hours, on Wednesday 11th June, Stornoway Coastguard requested the launch of Leverburgh Lifeboat, after a report that a boat was taking on water five nautical miles north west of St Kilda.

The 11 metre passenger vessel (a RIB) was carrying eight passengers at the time.
