A casting session for the production of the Cbeebies Katie Morag live action series, due to be filmed in Lewis this summer, is to take place in An Lanntair on Saturday 9th March.

Selected auditionees will be contacted over the next few days for the first round of auditions that will take place between 10am and 4pm.

This will be followed by an open casting session between 4pm and 6pm for girls with red hair aged between 6-9 who would like to play Katie Morag and boys with red hair aged between 7 and 13 who would like to play boy big cousin.

Orla O’Connor from the Casting Team commneted: “We’re delighted with the response so far and very excited about our casting on Saturday.

“There’s still time for boys and girls with red hair to apply so we’re hoping more people get in touch for a chance to be involved in the magical world of Katie Morag!”
