Making a difference to those with Cystic Fibrosis

A film highlighting the work of The Leanne Fund and raising awareness of Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is being launched in Stornoway.

The film, created by Liz Macbain and Ged Yeates and produced by MG ALBA, will showcase the work of the charity and tell the individual stories of young people affected by CF.

Several short films have already been launched on The Leanne Fund’s website and through social media channels and the main film will complement this work.

Featured in the film are the experiences of young people Arienne; Rowan; and Ashley who describe their experience of living with CF.

The film highlights how The Leanne Fund is making a difference to those with CF and also raises awareness of what life with CF is really like.

An event will be held in Stornoway Town Hall tonight (Thursday) to formally launch the films which will then be used on the charity’s website and also for promotional use across the Highlands, Islands and Grampian.
