Due to adverse weather conditions on Saturday, December 21st, the two Manran concerts due to be held in the Barvas and Brue Community Hall had to be cancelled.
The CalMac ferries from the Uists, where the band had performed the night before, were cancelled, leaving Manran stranded and unable to make it to Barvas.
But there is good news for those disappointed – as both concerts have been rescheduled for January 10th and 11th.
Band member Norrie Maciver – from Carloway – said: “We are extremely disappointed that the shows have had to be cancelled, as we were really looking forward to coming back to Lewis.
“We’d also like to thank our fans for their continued support and look forward to seeing you all in January.”
All tickets purchased for the Barvas shows will be valid for the January performances.
