Today (Tuesday) was another fantastic day for the Western Isles team at the Natwest Island Games as they picked up a haul of medals including two more GOLDS.

Kara Hanlon won the 200m breastroke and Donnie Macleod won the 800m tonight.

Eve Carrington won a Bronze medal in the shot putt.

Eilidh Mackenzie just missed out on gold in the 1500m but a great Silver medal for her and Eve Carrington picked up bronze in the shot putt having finished 4th just missing out on a medal in the 400m.

The shooting team’s Donald Walker also won a bronze medal in an individual shooting event.

And on top of all that, the Men’s Football Team beat Alderney 3-2, the first win of the tournament for them.
